Sletten Vikings

Sletten is an event we create for ourselves. While its roots are in fighting, everyone who wants to participate in developing the Viking reenactment scene is welcome. Merchants, Craftsmen, and Riders alike. Sletten is our opportunity to hone our fighting skills, knowledge, and friendships.

An epic location
Sletten refers to Norse mythology as the place where the warriors battle every day. It also happens to be the name of a fantastic piece of nature 30 mins from Aarhus. A beautiful place to get lost in time. Forests, hills, plains, and one of the cleanest lakes in Denmark to bathe your battle-worn body in.

Tickets and prices
Sletten is created for Vikings by Vikings without affiliation with any museum or organization. It is not open to the public, so there are no ticket sales, and in the spirit of authenticity, there are no sponsors with large banners in the camp. This means we have to pay ourselves.

The ticket price covers the rent to the scouts, firewood, toilets, and the million small things it takes to create an event of this size. Every year we do our utmost to negotiate and keep the prices down. And rest assured, no one is making money from Sletten. It is a non-profit event, and all surplus from attendance fees will be reinvested back into the event. 

Full week €100 (DKK 750) for adults
Full week €35 (DKK 265) for children
Half week €60 (DKK 450) for adults
